Movie House Truancy

October 25, 2006

Step Up is now showing on cinemas! So is The Guardian and Open Season. Woooohoo!

I missed Take the Lead, Prada, Monster House, Dupree (?), Ex-Girlfriend and many others during my uh..leave of absence in the movie house. Haha! I meant during that busy first semester. And now that the hassle's over(temporarily, that is) I am not gonna miss any movie that I intend to watch. Nuuuh uh!

Tomorrow, my thirst for dance movies will be given a quench as me my bestfreind would be watching Step Up. All for free. Got 2 compli tickets to consume, that's why. Hehe! And tha only 2 left. :-( Toinx!

Anwayz…just a few reasons why I'd watch this film —
One…me a sucker for dance movies.
Two…Channing Tatum.
Three…I wanna see how Tatum is in dance considering this athletic, macho, action-star image that he usually poses.
And four, I usually watch movies for no reason at all. Wehehe!

Can't wait.

Hmmm….I'm thinking of watching Prada right now(on DVD, I mean). It's still is early(for a nocturnal, that is)…and I know I should go compensate on those swamped nights but uh…hmm…I dunno. To watch or not to watch. That's the question right now. Hmm…

*yawn*

Guess I got an answer. G'nyt. I-congrats ko beh kay sayo ko matulog. Hihihi! Nyt, folks!

Early Hair Loss

Teenage hair loss??? What the?! I never really knew people could start losing their hair as early as during their teen years. People in their forties or fifties, these are the people(at least as far as I could recall) who start saying buhbye to those strands on their head.

Anyways, now that I know that at this young age, I could start losing my hair, I know better than to not take good care of it. I think it’s better to start at knowing  the probable causes of the unwanted dilemma. That way, we could take precautions and let it never strike at all. I learned in the linked site that reasons of hairloss could be illnesses, medications, infections, stress(Oh, boy!), unbalanced diet, and others. These are all causes of temporary hairloss. According to the site, permanent hairloss could be out of imbalances of hormones.

Surgery is available for those who lose their hair. But heck, I still say it’s better to prevent it from happening at all. Surgery, and other remedies, should be last recourse.

The hair does a lot in making us look good. Heck of a reason why we should make it a point to keep from losing it. ;)

All For A Better You

October 20, 2006

Many peepz nowadays are bent on looking good. I mean reeeally really good. They even come to the point of doing little(and sometimes, heeyoooge) modifications on their physical selves just to look the way they want to.

The magic of cosmetic surgery does it all. Don’t like your nose? Get it lifted. Wanna be rid of those wrinkles? Consider it done. Tired of being called a fat a##? Get a lipo. Hmm…yep..they all are possible with cosmetic surgery. Technology does do a lot in catering to people’s so-called wants in life.

Anyway, speaking of plastic surgery…there is this New York cosmetic surgeon named Dr.Philip Miller, ready to be at your service. These peepz are guranteed to turn you into a better, more beautiful you. Check it out, if you wish to. ;)

Mixed Martial Arts

Elektra(Garner) in Elektra, Mei(Ziyi) in The House of Flying Daggers, Nicole James(Forlani) in The Medallion, and Blue Bird in Blade of the Rose. You might have noticed that these movie characters are really good at one common thing…self defense. As you may or may not know, I’m a huge fan of film. I especially love watching action films with female leading characters whose emanating power to defend themselves stand out. Of course I’m aware that most of those stuff are exaggerated. I don’t know, I guess I just love watching a##-kicking women in action. Lolz! They make me say I wanna learn martial arts each time I go out of the movie house.

Yeah, that’s true. I wanna learn martial arts. Ever since I was little, I’ve always wanted to be very confident that if situation calls for it, I could defend myself, the man’s way, that is. Never really got the chance to learn it, sadly. My parents say I’m not strong enough for it. Hmm..don’t know bout that. (more…)

Debugging

October 19, 2006

If you think this entry’s title talks about debugging a computer program, uh uhh…you’re thinking wrong. I’m actually talking about debugging a person’s appearance. Checking for possible “errors”, and “recoding” certain parts if necessary.

This is actually what many peeps do nowadays with their face and/or body. They stop once in a while and look at themselves in the mirror. See if something dissatisfies them, and if something does, they do a little renovation.

Rhinoplasty, or in layman’s term, a nose job, is what’s very common with people who can afford the procedure. A lot of Hollywood stars, more particularly, undergo rhinoplasty. They’re simply fond of reinventing not only their homes but lso their faces. Hmmm…why not…they could afford it after all.
